Open-Faced Turkey Gyro


Ingredients


2 tsp olive oil
TT onion, sliced
TT each dried oregano, garlic salt and ground cumin
TT sliced turkey breast
1 pita bread warmed
TT torn lettuce leaves
TT Brown sauce



Directions
Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet.  Add onion; sauté over medium-high heat 4 minutes or until golden. Remove onion to a plate and set aside.
Sprinkle oregano, garlic salt and cumin over bottom of skillet. Add turkey and roast  in oven till brown Top warmed pitas with lettuce, sliced tomatoes, then roasted turky and onion. Add brown sauce to finish
Flour butter roux TT chicken stock touch of Kitchen Bouquet

Serve with potatoes of your choice, mashed, roasted, Greek Lemon Fries, whatever!!
